I have installed RIntegration pack which added RScript function as "Data Mining Function in Metrics editor

When I am opening C:\Program Files (x86)\R Integration Pack\RScripts\SeasonalForecasting.R file from DeplyR utility and trying to save, I am getting following connection error, can you please tell me why this error or do I just need to copy the script instead of save it:

"The script was not able to be saved due to the following error:
cannot open the connection"

After that as a test from page no 26 of user guide doucment, I copied following expression in clipboard and pasting in metrics editor expression.

RScript<_RScriptFile="C:\Program Files (x86)\R Integration Pack\RScripts\SeasonalForecasting.R", _InputNames="target, trend, season", StringParam9="SeasonalForecast">(target, trend, season)

When running the report i am not getting any data and in the DSSError.log file i can see following error -

2013-11-20 14:49:37.309+05:30 [HOST:KDC1-D-BQW3ZR1][PID:7000][THR:8164][DMX][Info] CDmxPmmlrPKG::RemoveModel(1297): Unloading model #1335375437 from memory.

Can you please help me to resolve both the problem.

It could be that you do not have the proper access to this folder/file. You can check that your user on that system has the proper permissions for C:\Program Files (x86)\R Integration Pack\RScripts and the SeasonalForecasting.R file.

Also, if you're on Windows, try launching your R Console and MicroStrategy Desktop using "Run as Administrator" to ensure you have access.

Alternatively, you can try using another folder that you do have access to and copy your R script there, but you will need to specify that path in the _RScriptFile parameter of the metric expression.

Hope this helps,

Thanks for your reply, it has been resolved. I think it would be helpful if you could incorporate above point in the user guide document also.
